Homeschooling is joy, hard work, opportunity, and often a humbling experience. We are grateful to live in a country where freedom exists. We love Union County. Our son is nearing college graduation. If you are considering home education or currently homeschooling, we are happy to talk with you.

Union County Homeschool Support Group

The group meets several times per year at various locations when an activity or field trip is planned by parents in the group. An annual Mom's Meeting is held each winter for encouragement and learning. Generally around 12 families participate in the group with children ranging in ages from birth through high school. A yearly $5 fee covers the cost of paper goods for picnics and meetings.

This year's winter encouragement meeting will be Feb. 25th at 6:00 PM at Hardees in Maynardville.
