Another school year is upon us. It is an exciting time, and it can also be daunting time. You have high expectations and big plans. As you progress through the 2016-2017 school year, which will include good days, challenging days, fun days, and not so fun days, SMHEA wants to come along side you to support and encourage you in your homeschool journey.
SMHEA HOmeschool Parents’ (HOP) Meetings are for you!
Whether you are new to homeschooling or a veteran, teaching one child or multiple, or educating a preschooler, a high schooler, or in between, a SMHEA HOmeschool Parents’ (HOP) Meeting is for you. These gatherings are opportunities to relax, to meet other homeschool parents, to share your thoughts and concerns in an environment that is safe and helpful, and to discuss various homeschool topics to encourage and support you.
Make plans to join us.
Leave the kids at home and come enjoy some adult conversation! Enjoy a night out and attend one meeting or plan to come every month! We would love for you to come laugh, listen, share, and pray with us as we all grow in our homeschool journey.
SMHEA HOP Meetings for the 2016-2017 education year are starting in September and will run monthly through May. These meetings are open to all home educator parents as a service to the community.
